Gently apply petroleum jelly to affected area three times
a day. The area should be kept moist and shiny at all times during
the healing process.
Expect some swelling and redness during the 48-72 hours following
the procedure.
To reduce swelling, apply ice to the area during the first 24-48 hours
(about 15-20 minutes each hour while awake). Be sure to use a barrier
between the bag of ice and your face (a dry wash cloth is suitable).
