Corrective ProceduresAREOLA PIGMENTATION Areola pigmentation after a mastectomy/reconstruction, permanent cosmetic correction, and scar camouflage is done with the implantation of pigments. Areola pigmentation is performed on those women who have had reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy, both bilateral and unilateral. When a unilateral areola is pigmented careful measures to match the natural shape and color are made. Fair completed and or albino women can also choose to have pigment implanted into their areolar complex. COSMETIC CORRECTION I have been conducting self –directed research in the area of cosmetic correction. Permanent cosmetic correction can be very difficult and costly. It can be done, but a scheduled consultation is necessary. It is much easier for me to have you in front of me than to try to guess on the phone. I highly recommend you come to see me for a consultation before cosmetic correction is attempted or laser removal is considered. Many times an inexperienced technicians can make matters worse. Color correction, on the other hand, can be much easier to accomplish. My consultations are always free, and it can save you a lot of heart ache and money. If you have any cosmetic correction needs or concerns call me. SCAR CAMOFLAUGE Scar camouflage is a wonderful way to minimize the appearance of scars. Facial scars from cosmetic surgery or injury can be camoflauged very effectively. Scar must be left to reach their most mature state of soft white nature before a camouflage can be done. This can take from 6months to one year. Whitening areas on the face from dermabrasion and/or laser are also treated effectively. If you have any question or concerns about scars please feel free to
call me. |
